First day of Registering!!

Today was such a fun day, exhausting at times yes, but FUN! And Ashkon had fun too which made the day even better! We started off the morning with our traditional Christmas pre-breakfast "Christmas tree bread" since we had some extra from the holidays. Then off to the mall we went. I have been waiting forever to get to go shopping to look at things that other people will buy for you hehe :) and to do it with the love of my life...bliss! There was so much to look at and so much to "shoot"! We had the nicest lady helping us who was quite a kick. She was definitely did not hesitate to tell us what we "weren't allowed to buy" because she didn't like it! Ha. However, she did give us some great advice on products and even told Ashkon how great of a doctor he would be after meeting him about an hour before. :) (I love people like that!) At the second store, we were pretty much on our own. We found tons of neat gadgets and colorful items to fill our kitchen! We got some recommendations from another shopper who was buying his favorite product for his boss and But, by the end we needed a snack. We took a little break, got fro yo at Yogurt Park and were quickly ready for round three. Here, we were helped by a very nice, very enthusiastic girl. We joked that she had a sharp eye on us as we were shopping around because every time we entered a new section she was there to give us her top recommendations! [We played some games to guess how long it would take her to get to us as we entered some of the sections haha] Once we were about half way through the store, we realized how late it was and that the store was actually closing soon. Both pretty exhausted, we just about had enough for the day. But we had a few more minutes. Out of probably pure shopping craziness, we started scanning just about everything we saw. That might have been the most fun we had all day though :) Now, we have to start managing our registries, not to mention hitting the stores we didn't get to today! And if you are wondering if I forgot to mention the stores we went to, you'll just have to wait a little bit longer :) We don't want to let the secret out until our registries are totally correct with what we want, quantities, colors and so on. But now that we have the first step taken care of it won't be too much longer of a wait! :) Today, was so much fun (and suprisingly not too stressful with not knowing where we are living, size of the place we'll have etc). I so appreciated Ashkon's amazing attitude since shopping is not his favorite thing! He made it so fun and I can't wait to see what we get and start our life together!!! :):):)
